Stores Opening – Doing it right, safely.

Following the successful trial opening of six stores with new social distancing measures, we will open 106 stores on Thursday 14th May and a further 108 stores on Tuesday 19th May.

Each of our stores will have social distancing measures in place to protect our colleagues and customers. These initiatives mirror those deployed by other essential retailers and provide reassurance that you can shop safely in store and our colleagues are well protected.

We will limit the number of people in our stores at any one time, there will be clear signage and floor markers to ensure people remain two meters apart and perspex screens have been installed at our tills. Sanitizing stations will be made available for our customers to use, colleagues will be using PPE and we will only accept card and contactless payments.

In addition to the new social distancing measures, these stores will operate shorter opening hours from Monday to Saturday, from either 7.00 am or 8.00 am, closing at 4.00 pm or 5.00 pm. Sunday trading hours remain 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.

Home Delivery

We are pleased to continue to be able to offer a home delivery option for our customers.

As these are particularly busy periods for us, availability may at times be limited and some products may not be available for home delivery where social distancing rules cannot be observed.

We are currently experiencing a particularly high volume of demand and no longer have availability for Next Day delivery on most lines and locations.

We are releasing more delivery slots daily so please check again tomorrow if you are unable to order today

Click and Collect

We are operating a contactless Click and Collect service for our customers which will be operated outside of our stores. Our collection times are a little longer at the moment due to customer demand but we aim to have your order ready to collect within 8 working hours. Please do not travel to the store until you have had confirmation that your order is ready as we will not be unable to provide your order if it is not ready.

  • You will be able to collect your order at the front entrance to our stores – please ensure you have received your confirmation email or text to say your order is ready and bring your order reference with you when you collect your order
  • A colleague will meet you and provide your order, ensuring that social distancing rules are adhered to
  • If your order includes an age restricted product you will be required to show ID (instructions given when you arrive at store)

Click and Collect orders can be placed online Monday – Saturday. Orders can be collected from your local store in line with their opening hours. Please refer to your local store’s opening hours for collection times.

We are experiencing a large demand for Click and Collect Orders – In order to keep customers and colleagues safe, we need to make sure that we manage demand carefully. Some collections will not be available for 8 hrs or the next day.

Click and Collect orders cannot currently be placed on Sundays and our stores are closed on Sunday for Click and Collect collections.
