    Description

    Feature

    Johnstone’s Acrylic Durable Matt is a premium quality emulsion formulated for interior use on walls and ceilings. In addition it can be used on suitably primed woodwork and radiators. This low odour paint is washable and wipeable, providing a tough finish that is resistant to condensation, yellowing and most household stains. Its outstanding durability makes it ideal for use in kitchens, bathrooms, hotels, hospitals
    and public buildings.

    Preparation

    All surfaces to be painted should be clean, dry and free from loose and flaking material. Prime bare surfaces with the appropriate Johnstone’s Primer. Rub down previously gloss painted surfaces with fine waterproof abrasive paper and rinse thoroughly before applying a pre-coat of Johnstone’s Joncryl Water Based Primer Undercoat. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960’s paint surfaces over wood and metal as they may contain harmful lead.     Application

    Stir well. Easy to apply by brush or roller. Seal absorbent surfaces with a coat of Acrylic Eggshell thinned up to 10% with clean water. If more than one can of a colour is to be used in the same area, intermix before use. Do not apply in temperatures below 10°C.

    Cleaning

    Remove as much product as possible from application equipment before cleaning. Replace lid firmly. Clean equipment immediately after use with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Some local authorities have special facilities for the disposal of waste coatings. Do not empty product into drains or watercourses.
